Certified physician assistants are medical providers formally trained in medical and/or surgical clinical care, graduating from one of over 100 accredited academic medical-model training programs in the United States. All PAs can make medical diagnoses, order laboratory tests, and prescribe medications.

Dermatology is one of the more specialized areas in which a PA can work. Our dermatology physician assistant specializes in diagnosing and treating most types of skin disease and many medical issues that manifest on the surface of the skin. These conditions can vary from acne to skin cancer and everything in between, including rashes, eczema, and many other general dermatologic conditions. In addition, dermatology PAs are trained to perform procedures, including biopsies and cryotherapy,
