Dr. Curcio presented twice at the American Academy of Dermatology 2016 Meeting.

She also participated in the History of Dermatology day with numerous leading dermatologists from across the world.  Dr. Curcio has been an active member of the group for many years and has put together a large collection of historical dermatological publications.

Dr. Curcio leads trip to Chile providing underserved Mohs Surgery

Dr. Curcio led the Blade and Light Society’s trip to Santiago, Chile.  She spent two days providing free Mohs Surgery to the underserved population and one day teaching residents and Dermatologists advanced surgery techniques.

Dr. Curcio speaks on Neuromodulators at the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Meeting in San Diego

Dr. Curcio was invited to discuss the relationship between anatomy and the effect of neuromodulators, review the similarities and differences between current neuromodulators, highlight basic and advanced cosmetic use, review possible complications and their treatments, and discuss products coming in the future.

Dr. Curcio presents Grand Rounds at the Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris, France

Dr. Curcio presented the Evolution of Mohs Micrographic Surgery to over 100 French Dermatologists.  She discussed the origins of Mohs Surgery, having trained under Dr. Gary Monheit a student of Frederic Mohs, chemosurgery, and the fresh tissue technique.  Following the presentation she participated in Q&A on current dermatologic surgery and Mohs techniques in the US as well as clinical grand rounds.

Dr. Curcio is Tennessee’s Young Physician Section Delegate to the American Medical Association Annual Meeting in Chicago

Dr. Curcio is Tennessee’s Young Physician Section (YPS) Delegate to the American Medical Association (AMA) and attended the AMA Annual Meeting in Chicago, on June 5-8, 2014. 

As the YPS-AMA delegate, she represents the medical interests of physicians and patients of TN, and focuses on the needs of younger physicians after training in their first eight years of professional practice.
